Mr. Kamata has been working in the consumer finance industry for over 25 years. Within Japan, Hong Kong and the Philippines, he has established numerous financial businesses in his capacity as as a COO and CTO. In creating a brand new company, he focuses on optimising efficiency by incorporating IT systems into operations. Through the effective use of databases, he has built an original credit scoring model to balance risk factors, and developed a small-scale system into a medium-scale system. With his extensive experience, Mr Kamata is a specialist in areas including operations, IT and risk management. Most recently, he co-founded Samurai Tech, a new business within the fintech sector based in Hong Kong.
